Membership Basics:

  • Cost of Annual Membership:  starting at $30 per household
  • Membership Period: The MSNA membership period is Jan 1st to Dec 31st of each calendar year. 
  • Eligibility: Membership is available to all residents and property owners within the Shenandoah neighborhood boundaries which are: SW 12th Avenue to 27th Avenue, and; SW 8th Street to Coral Way (SW 22nd Street). 
  • Voting: Only active members are permitted to vote during any MSNA meeting (dues must be paid each year to remain active).

Our members love Shenandoah and support our work to keep it the beautiful, amazing neighborhood it is. In 2021, commitment from MSNA members enabled the association to:

  • Host a series of Trash Walks to clean up the neighborhood.
  • Install 10 new Shenandoah signs in roundabouts and medians to welcome people as they enter the neighborhood.
  • Co-host a Halloween House Decorating Contest with The Miami Silver Bluff Neighborhood Association to bring more spooky spirit to the neighborhood.
  • Plant a new butterfly garden in Shenandoah Park which is already attracting many new winged-neighbors! 
  • Host monthly meetings with elected officials, community leaders, police and presentations on topics of interest to our neighborhood.
  • And much more!

All of this despite living through a pandemic - it really was quite a year! 

 

Joining MSNA is a great way to get involved in your local community. Annual membership start at only $30 per household - what a deal! As a member of the association, you have the ability to vote at any of our general meetings. How to pay your dues: 

  • Via PayPal
  • Via Square (you can pay with a credit card without needing a username/password)
  • Bring cash, check, or a credit card to any regular in-person membership meeting.
  • Mail a check made out to "Miami Shenandoah Neighborhood Association" to us at 2262 SW 18 Street, Miami, FL 33145

Non-Residents & Business Owners:

If you don't live within the MSNA boundaries but want to show your support for our work, the Non-Resident or Business Supporters membership is for you! These members are able to attends all MSNA meetings and events (including members-only events) but are not eligible to vote or serve on the MSNA Board.
