Our beloved pool and pool building have outlived their service life and need to be replaced. Currently, funds have been allocated to the City of Miami Capital Improvements Department for the replacement of the pool and pool building. The only additional items that are currently funded for the pool project are features required for the new pool (extended sidewalks, modification to the fencing, etc.) "A general plan is basically a master plan for a park, it's what we call it," states Brandan DeCaro of Capital Improvements, "The general park plan will help the Design Team determine the best location for the replacement Pool and Pool building."
